10/17/2008 10:00:00 PM Alright.. I'm back with an update after weeks of leaving my blog empty, so I'm here to update today cause it's a special occasion today, not any anniversary with anyone since I'm not attached, but a day I ended Student Internship Programme at Electronic Arts.
What can I say..? Happy or sad? Having mixed feelings since last night while chatting with my friends in MSN. The colleagues at Electronic Arts are really very nice, they are friendly and a bunch of jokers cracking jokes almost at any point of time. But at the same time working very hard as a team in order for the project to go on smoothly. 15 weeks of attachment just ended so quickly like it's just last week that I'm started as a QA tester at Electronic Arts, but it ended today and will be heading back to school for Major Project on a flash game for MAS(Monetary Authority of Singapore). The 15 weeks attachment has really been a great one, with nice senior testers and friendly leads around, really makes me feel not so awkward working there. Adapted as soon as possible and got into action, but it's quite a sad thing that I really started to make fun of the testers and joking around with them towards the end of the internship period. When the internship started, I will be looking forward to ending work and getting home as soon as possible. But now I'll definitely miss the times there as a QA tester. Hope the card we gave them will let them remember that they've a bunch of joker interns before. =D Thank you to all the QA leads for their guidance there; Yunte as my longest leader and a liverpool fan, with the Venezia lunch treat to thank the team for the hard work for FIFA, and sorry to you for finding a bug last min that delayed the sign off. Chin Ang for the funny jokes and craps he had, forever shouting the "Go home Go home" phrase when it's 6pm. Alex for issuing us our pay cheques every month and letting me help with proof testing for a nice game. Mabeline for letting me proof testing for a racing game and owning me upside down while we playing online for it. Tuck Yee as my last lead for my internship there, forever making fun of me whenever he comes down and check on us. Thank you to all the Senior Testers for their teachings and guidance there as well; Eugene as my first ST there and forever testing the game in the correct way. Crapping and lots of others stuffs that keeps us shocked and fascinated. Max for teaching me lots of stuffs and guiding me through the entire project, a great team member with lots of knowledge and imparted me with all his knowings at Electronic Arts. Shi Song for guiding me when I first got there and teaching me the standard of bug report and screenshots that the company requires. And lastly... Goodbye to Electronic Arts QA Team.. Goodbye to all my friends at Electronic Arts.. Goodbye to the long bus rides from bus 156.. Goodbye to the gorgeous 156 lady who board at Serangoon and alight at Raffles Town Club.. Goodbye everything... |
